  • Yes, chiropractic care is considered very safe when provided by licensed professionals. At Crater Chiropractic, we tailor each treatment to fit your individual needs, whether you're a child, senior, or expecting parent.   • That depends on your condition, goals, and how your body responds. Some patients feel better after just a few visits, while others benefit from a longer care plan. We track your progress closely and adjust your treatment plan as needed.

  • Chiropractic care is generally not painful. Most patients feel relief during or immediately after an adjustment. Some may experience mild soreness, similar to what you might feel after exercise, but this typically fades within 24–48 hours.

    At Crater Chiropractic, we offer both traditional manual adjustments and low-force techniques to ensure a gentle, effective experience. We always explain each step beforehand and tailor every treatment to your comfort level, so you know exactly what to expect and feel confident in your care.

  • Not always. At Crater Chiropractic, we only recommend X-rays if they are medically necessary. If your condition, age, or health history suggests imaging would help guide your care, we’ll discuss this with you and help coordinate the process. Most patients begin care without needing X-rays.

Getting Started as a New Patient

  • Your first visit at Crater Chiropractic is all about understanding your needs and building a personalized care plan. Here's what to expect:

    • A review of your intake form, medical history, and symptoms

    • A full physical examination and spinal assessment

    • A conversation about your health goals and lifestyle

    • Time to ask any questions

    • A customized treatment session, if appropriate, which may include:

      • Gentle chiropractic adjustments

      • Electrical stimulation

      • Myofascial release or massage

      • Heat or ice therapy

      • Postural and movement guidance

    We explain every step so you feel fully informed and supported.

  • To make the most of your first visit, please bring:

    • Your completed intake forms

    • A valid photo ID (e.g., driver’s license)

    • Your insurance card (if applicable)

    If you haven't completed your forms before arrival, we recommend arriving 30 minutes early. This helps us make your visit as smooth and focused as possible.

  • For your visit to Crater Chiropractic in the Rogue Valley, we recommend wearing comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that allows for easy movement. Athletic wear like t-shirts, leggings, or sweatpants is ideal. Avoid skirts, dresses, or restrictive clothing, as they can make certain chiropractic adjustments or assessments more difficult. If needed, we can provide a gown for your comfort during your appointment.

  • During your chiropractic visit at Crater Chiropractic, you’ll be seen by one of our licensed and experienced chiropractors, who will perform a thorough evaluation to understand your health history, concerns, and goals. In many cases, you’ll also be assisted by a Chiropractic Assistant (CA) who supports the doctor throughout your visit. Our team works together to ensure your care is seamless, personalized, and comfortable from the moment you walk through the door.

Appointments & Scheduling

  • Scheduling an appointment is easy! Simply call our office or send us an email, and a member of our team will help you find a time that works best for you. We are happy to answer any questions you may have and guide you through the process if it’s your first visit.

  • We are by appointment only, which helps us provide the best care for each patient. While we aren’t able to offer same-day walk-in appointments, you’re always welcome to stop by the office to schedule a future visit. We’ll be happy to get you on the calendar at the next available time.

  • We have a 24-hour cancellation policy. If your appointment is on a Monday, please contact us by the Friday before to avoid a late cancellation fee, as our office is closed over the weekend. This policy also applies to massage therapy appointments. If you need to make changes, just call or email us and we’ll be happy to help you reschedule.

Insurance & Payment

  • Yes! We accept many major insurance plans and are happy to help verify your chiropractic benefits. Just give our office a call—we’ll walk you through your coverage and any out-of-pocket costs. For those without insurance, we also offer affordable self-pay options.

    We currently accept the following insurance providers:

    • Medicare

    • Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield

    • PacificSource

    • Providence

    • Regence

    • Moda

    • Health Net

    Please note: Insurance coverage can vary by plan and provider. We recommend contacting your insurance company directly to confirm your chiropractic benefits, as each plan may have different requirements and limitations.

  • Yes, we accept both auto injury and workplace injury cases. If you’ve been in a car accident or hurt on the job, let us know when booking.

    For motor vehicle accidents (MVA):
    Please bring your claim number, the name of your adjuster, and your auto insurance information. If you don’t have an open claim, we can assist in getting one started and bill your auto insurance directly. Note: This process may vary by state.

    For workplace injuries:
    We currently only accept Oregon workplace accidents. Please bring your case number and adjuster’s contact information to your first visit.

  • No insurance? No problem. We offer:

    • A 15% time-of-service discount for patients paying at the time of care

    • Membership in ChiroHealthUSA, a discount medical plan that provides savings on services not covered by your health insurance

    This helps make chiropractic care affordable and accessible to you and your family.

    We’re just off Biddle Road and conveniently close to the Rogue Valley International-Medford Airport, making us easy to find whether you're coming from downtown Medford, Central Point, or nearby communities.

    From I-5 (North or South):

    • Take Exit 30 toward Crater Lake Hwy/OR-62

    • Head east on OR-62 and turn right onto Biddle Road

    • Continue on Biddle Rd for about 2 miles

    • Turn left on O'Hare Parkway, then right on National Dr.

    • You’ll find us in the business plaza near SpringHill Suites and Candlewood Suites

    From Rogue Valley International Airport:

    • Head south on Biddle Rd

    • Turn right onto O'Hare Parkway, then right onto National Dr.

    • Our clinic will be on the right-hand side, in Suite #100

    Look for nearby landmarks like Columbia Care, SpringHill Suites, or My Place Hotel. Plenty of parking is available right outside the clinic.
